Global Compact Equipment Market to Grow at 5% Rate

The market for compact construction equipment is projected to grow at an annual rate of 5.1%, according to new research from ResearchAndMarkets.com.

The group says that the market will grow from $39.5 billion this year to $56.1 billion in 2032. Fuel for growth comes from “continuously increasing government and private investments in residential, non-residential, and commercial sectors in Asian and North American countries,” according to “Compact Construction Equipment Market by Type (Excavator, Loader, Skid Steer, Track Loader, Compactor, Telehandler), Propulsion, Power Output, Engine Capacity, Function, Electric Construction Equipment, Battery Chemistry, & Region - Global Forecast to 2032.”

A series of seminars to support equipment dealer managers is being hosted by the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation.

The Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) Foundation has announced a number of upcoming seminars focused on opportunities in used equipment and on parts and services. The events are coordinated to bring more certainty to ag equipment dealer businesses and help build the customer base, according to seminar planners. AED Foundation seminars support equipment dealers of many sectors including ag dealers and farmstead equipment, and are designed to help dealers and their key managers learn how to be more effective and to quickly improve their departments.

Judge Orders USDA to Issue Withheld Conservation Funds

USDA must release billions of dollars to farmers, non-profit groups and others funded under the Inflation Reduction Act, a federal judge ruled Monday.

USDA, EPA, and the departments of Energy, Interior and Housing and Urban Development are enjoined from freezing, halting or pausing funding that "has already been awarded" under the Inflation Reduction Act or the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The agencies were ordered to immediately resume processing, disbursement and payment of funding under the two laws.

U.S. Grains Council: Value Of Ag Exports Top $28 Billion, 346,000 Jobs

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) has updated its Value of Grains Exports study with the latest available information about the financial benefits of agricultural exports to communities across the country.

This study, jointly commissioned with the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA), examines the economic contributions provided by exports of malt barley, other barley, corn, corn gluten feed and meal, distiller's dried grains with solubles (DDGS), ethanol, sorghum and the corn equivalent of beef, pork and poultry on the U.S. economy. The study specifically highlights the economic contributions provided by each U.S. state and individually analyzes them with the goal of quantifying the degree to which state economies rely upon and benefit from grain exports.
