According to a statement from the Boone Police Department, officers responded to a call before 9:00 a.m. to 1520 15th St. for a report of a deceased male. Police say when officers arrived, they found two dead bodies. The victims were identified as Gregory Evenson and Ronette Bonnell. The Iowa DCI was called in to assist with the investigation.
