Good morning to you!

In 2013, TV Guide compiled a list of TV's 60 Greatest Catchphrases. From "Heeeere's... Johnny!" to "Danger, Will Robinson!" to “Yabba dabba doo,” many of these words have been etched in our brains. I have been known to drop a few of them in conversations as well. Here are eight of my favorites.

No soup for you!” "The Soup Nazi" aired during the seventh season of the sitcom “Seinfeld” on Nov. 2, 1995, on NBC. In the episode, Jerry, George and Elaine visit a soup stand operated by Yev Kassem, who has the strictest of rules. The Soup Nazi's catchphrase “No soup for you!” has lived on in my vocabulary each time I need to deny something from someone.

How YOU doin'?” Think of actor Matt LeBlanc, and this phrase likely comes to mind. The “Friends” TV show aired on NBC from 1994 to 2004, and this line from character Joey Tribbiani is a classic.

What'choo talkin' 'bout, Willis?” My kids rolled their eyes each time they heard me repeat the words actor Gary Coleman delivered as Arnold Jackson in “Diff'rent Strokes,” a sitcom that aired on NBC from 1978 to 1985 and on ABC from 1985 to 1986. Everyone with the name Willis must have heard this a time or two — or two million.

Come on down!” This famous line started in 1972 with Johnny Olsen on “The Price is Right” television game show and has been spoken ever since by Rod Roddy, Rich Fields and George Gray as an invitation to contestants to join Bob Barker and now Drew Carey to play a variety of games. This is why we know what Plinko is.

The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.” Before we had access to sports 24/7, we tuned in to ABC on Saturday afternoons to watch bowling, weight lifting and rattlesnake hunts on “Wide World of Sports.” Interestingly, the 1961 debut featured our own Drake Relays. And those who were regular viewers can’t forget Slovenian ski jumper Vinko Bogataj’s dreadful crash that was featured over Jim McKay’s words "...and the agony of defeat."

Ruh-roh!” Dogs may not be able to talk, but this one from “The Jetsons” did. Kind of. Astro is the pet of Elroy Jetson, and he is George Jetson's self-appointed best friend. Astro would shower George with affection whenever possible. The Jetsons is an animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions that aired in prime time from 1962 to 1963 on ABC, then later in reruns via syndication with new episodes produced from 1985 to 1987. Whenever Astro was in trouble, he would utter the words, “Ruh-roh.” So do I.

Nanu-nanu.” You either know this famous phrase and handshake from “Mork & Mindy” or you don’t.

And finally, "Good night, John Boy." Nothing seemed as pure as “The Waltons,” the historical television drama about a family in the West Virginia mountains that aired from 1972 to 1981. The closing of each show with family members wishing each other “Good night” was the perfect closing. It still is, at least in the Goodman home.

I clearly left out a bunch of other classic catch phrases from TV. Send me a note with one of your favorites and tell me why it was meaningful to you.

Have a terrific Tuesday, and thank you for reading.
