The photo above is of Philemon who was recently killed by the authorities in Cape Town because, it seems, of one person in the community complaining loudly.
Activists have been trying to change management policies and the way people generally view baboons for nearly 30 years. The same problems exist, and the same actions are taken by those in positions of authority. Something needs to shift.
